Boomkat Review:

"Setting its mark at the sick equilibrium between Dubstep, slowcore electro and Hip Hop, this killer opening salvo from the Square Roots possee has brought together some of Glasgow’s best known producers for this textured bass-heavy beast of a record. ‘Prince Video’ kicks off the EP with the dark, glitchy mash-up steez of “Pox Bench” before handing over to Production Unit (Marcia Blaine School for Girls) with “What Time Is Made Off”, a deep dancefloor tinged cut-up track which is our highlight of the 12”. New artist Konx-Om-Pax has been an integral part of one of Glasgow’s most popular electronic/tech nights at the Glasgow School Of Art, his contribution feat MC Sum One is just supremely good future Hip-Hop, before the dub heavy sound of Production Unit (another member of the Marcia Blaine School For Girls) delivers “Trace” for the knockout. Wicked twelve."

no bad...
